Send your new lead email notifications to Verse by creating a Mailparser inbox. Here is a step-by-step guide on how to create the inbox and build parsing rules accordingly:

Forward your New Lead Notification Emails to Mailparser
Sign up for a Mailparser Account at https://app.mailparser.io/account/signup
Once logged in, select "Create Inbox" and copy the email address that is automatically generated (it will be different from the email listed below):
3. Go to your email inbox where your new lead notifications live and create a forwarding rule to automatically forward these new lead notifications to your new Mailparser email. Reference the Connect via Email Parsing section of our support portal
4. Once you’ve created the forwarding rules in your email inbox, manually forward a sample email to the Mailparser email address. Then, go back to your created inbox, and start creating Parsing Rules.
NOTE: When manually forwarding the lead notification, delete any excess data:
5. MailParser will offer to “pre-parse” the email lead template for you, however, this will create a number of parsing rules that you likely won’t need. You can allow it to pre-parse it for you, or continue without the automated rules.
Create Parsing Rules in Mailparser
6. Click the Add Parsing Rule button
7. Next click the Body and Plain Text options. In some cases, the body of the email will not show plain text, and you may need to use the </> HTML option.
8. Next, click the Add Text Filter button
9. Choose the option “Find Start/End Position” and then choose “Find Start Position” from the drop downs
10. To extract data and create the field "Name", select your start position. In most cases, the email will read "Name: {{LeadName}}". In which case, select Text match: after and fill out the field as it appears in the email (as mentioned, usually something like “Name:”).
11. Next, click the Add Text Filter button, choose “Find Start/End Position” and then choose “Define End Position” from the drop-down
12. In most cases, there is one field per line, so you can select the “End of Line” option here unless there are multiple lines that you’re capturing.
13. MailParser will show you the data that you’ll be capturing with the parser rule right below the Define End Position to give you a confirmation that you’ve built the parsing rule correctly. Next click the Ok Looks Good button and you’ll be presented with the Validate and Save.
Add a name, and click the Validate & Save button and you’re all set and ready to go.
14. Repeat these steps for as many fields as you need to capture in the email.
NOTE: You’ll want to re-check that the email is parsed correctly with the rules you’ve made with an email that is auto-forwarded with the rules that you created for your email client.
To change the email that you’re displaying in the parsing rule - in the upper right hand side of the screen click the Change sample email button
and choose an email that was auto-forwarded to the parsing inbox.

Build a Zap to send Mailparser Leads to Verse
1. Log into your Zapier account: https://zapier.com/app/login
2. Select Create Zap
3. The Trigger Event is Mailparser > New Email Parsed
4. Connect your account, select the mailbox, and test the trigger
5. The Action Event is Verse > Create New Lead
6. Connect your account using your Verse API Key - this can be found in your Verse.io account under Settings > Connections
7. Map all of the fields
8. Test and Publish your zap - the integration is now live!
